The Awards of Excellence recognize women for outstanding volunteer service in Oklahoma. Honorees make up The Societies of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­, which have raised more than $5 million for Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ since 1988. More than 130 women have been honored with Awards of Excellence in that time, and proceeds from the awards luncheon support academic programs and student scholarships at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­.

The luncheon is traditionally held every spring and features performances from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ arts students.
