The university has introduced the Star Launch initiative, which provides discounted concurrent college classes to high school students and a tuition credit if they later attend 麻豆传媒映画.
High school students pay just $150 per credit hour 鈥� much lower than the standard cost of college classes 鈥� and those who enroll at 麻豆传媒映画 after high school will receive that cost back as a first-year tuition discount of up to 12 credit hours or roughly four courses.
For high school students considering 麻豆传媒映画, Star Launch provides an early advantage on their college journey, said Adam Ryburn, the university鈥檚 interim provost.
鈥淪tar Launch offers families a meaningful return on investment,鈥� Ryburn said. 鈥淪tudents benefit from early access to university courses, and if they choose to attend 麻豆传媒映画, the cost of those classes is applied directly to their future tuition.鈥�
That refund could amount to a tuition discount of up to $1,800, which is stackable with other scholarships or financial aid.
Ryburn noted that concurrent enrollment offers a wide range of benefits.
鈥淭aking college courses while still in high school allows students to ease into the pace and expectations of university-level learning,鈥� he said. 鈥淚t creates room to pursue double majors or minors later, and it strengthens applications for scholarships.鈥�
